I travelled extensively in England and around the world and although I now live in Calgary, Canada, I will always miss Norwich and Norfolk. If I were to ever move back to England, it would only be to to the North Norfolk coastline. I was born and raised in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk and have many wonderful memories of my childhood in Suffolk, but my adult years were spent in Norfolk and those memories will remain with me forever. If you are visiting England, stray off the heavily beaten path of the normal sights and go and enjoy a beer in one of the many wonderful, centuries old pubs in Norwich or take a stroll on the miles of wide open beautiful beaches and not meet a soul along the way. It is amazing the beauty that you miss when you follow the normal visitor routes. Steve Jones I am fascinated by Norfolk, and I poke around in it from afar exploring villages in which my gamekeeper, pub landlord ancestors lived out their days.
